Oxford --- SAIS (Johns Hopkins) --- LSE
Hi there,
I am currently struggling to decide between the following options: - MSc in European Political Economy at the LSE (1 year) - MPhil in Politics (European Politics and Society) at Oxford (2 years) - MA in International Relations and International Economy at Johns Hopkins (2 years: 1st year in Bologna, Italy and 2nd year in Washington D.C., USA) All of them have some components of IR and European politics and LSE and SAIS allow further study of economics, which I find very attractive. Since I have completed my BA degree in London, LSE seems least challenging, whereas the American model provided by SAIS could be most enriching. Still I am worried that Oxford by far outshines SAIS in terms of prestige in Europe and I am making a mistake by rejecting it. Any thoughts or advice on that? I am interested in working for a multilateral organisation, think tank or an NGO upon graduation. I will greatly appreciate your help.. Cheers! |
