why not discuss the chances of getting into a good university?
friends, let us put our statistics along with our major and the universities which we wish to apply. It will be helpful for everyone, as one might get an idea of what universities should one choose on seeing our stats, univs we wish and more importantly our discussion...
![]() first, let me put mine: I am not a domestic applicant. major - M.Sc biotechnology, CGPA - 4.88/6.00 B.Sc. - plant biology, 76% gre - 1220 (v540; q-680; aw3.0) ![]() toefl - 99 (r28; l23;s24; w24) ![]() one year of research exp ![]() one paper (processing manuscript) 10th school grade - 88% 12th grade - 92% registered for sub gre. i wish for a phD program in molecular cell biology, biochemistry, Biomedical sciences. my choice of universities: 1) tufts university 2) brandeis university 3)syracuse university 4)clemson 5) kansas state university 6) georgetown 7)georgewashington I am not sure if the universities are apt for me. But, if someone else has similar choices then we both are right . this is how it may work... ![]() |
