Warwick MSc Economics
I have an unconditional offer for Warwick MSc Economics but couldn't decide whether to do it or not. The issues that are bothering me are as follows:
1. What additional career opportunities would this open that a undergrad in economics won't. (I want to pursue a career in finance or consulting) 2. Will it really add much weight on my CV? (From what I know, masters are generally considered for the same positions as undergraduate students) 3. I did my undergraduate from Warwick, so will it be better to do masters from a different university (a different, less competitive course, e.g. Oxbridge/LSE, Economic History) even if the course isn't as strong as MSc Economics, although still quite decent. All advice and recommendations much appreciated. (Particularly from ex-students) Last edited by error : 2009 September 13th at 02:18 PM. |
