Need help in deciding grad school for Biotech / Biochemistry / Microbiology
Dear all,
I am planning to apply for MS / PhD in Biotech / Biochemistry / Microbiology. I am Planning to apply for Spring / Fall-2010. My profile is as follow Back ground : M.Tech (Biotech) reputed University India -- 1st class M.Sc (Microbiology) India - 1st class B.Sc (Chemistry with Physics, Math and Biology) India - high 2nd class Professional experience : 2 years Research Assistant (Ivy league Unniversity Lab, US) Area of Interest : Only Master programme. I am not interested in Phd Funding : Need funding in terms scolarship / RA / TA etc GRE : 800 Q and 480 V Toefl: 95 Status ; Currently in US on L2 visa Guys can you guide me which University shall i target? I have location preference. The location is either greater NYC area or Boston area in east coast or major city areas in west coast (in warm climate). I have figured out the universities in East coast to apply but need help in selecting the West coast Universities. Can you please guide me which 4/5 schools in West coast I should apply in MS / PhD in Biotech / Biochemistry / Microbiology? I need funding for graduate study. Also can you please comment what is the possibility to get addmission and funding in Spring, 2010 session. Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks in advance. SD |
