My academic background is

BBA: 3.19/4.00 from an unranked university (University of Dhaka, Bangladesh)

Master of Development Studies: 3.78/4.00 from an unranked university (BRAC University, Bangladesh)

Research Assistant at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), Bangladesh 18 months

Research Analyst at International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Bangladesh 6 months

GRE quant: 164 verbal: 160 AW: 3.5

program looking for: MPP

I have not done too many math courses (2 stat course and some other useless BBA stuff) but have learnt statistics and obviously software like Stata and R by myself. At this point I am totally flabbergasted with choosing schools. Can anyone please suggest me one or two schools where I have realistic chance of getting in with financial aid or fellowship or research assistant-ship? Are top-tier schools like Princeton, Georgetown within my reach anyway?

You're graduate GPA is pretty good, and you have a lot of research experience, which I think will help you out a lot. Maybe try:

Harvard Kennedy School

Columbia (SIPA)

USC

UCLA

Northwestern

Maybe some UK schools like Warwick, UCL and maybe LSE.

The acceptance rates for MPP programs are pretty high, based on my understand, so I think that you have a good shot

Good luck
