anthony889
Dear all, as the title suggest, I am trying to decide what master to choose to pursue a career in the financial institutions, such as Central Banks, IMF, World Bank but also research departments of Banks, rating agencies and think-tanks. Thanks to a great scholarship I don't have any budget limit. What master would you choose (and why) among: -Master in Finance, Barcelona GSE -MSc Finance and Economics, LSE -Master in Economic Policy, UCL At the moment I am tempted by the master at the GSE, because of the program, and the feeling that GSE is more suitable for a career of this kind. However, LSE brand seems to me much stronger and on linkedin there are much more graduates from LSE in this kind of institutions. I would much appreciate if you would suggest me other good options. Thanks! Edited January 28, 2016 by anthony889
ftcrazyft
Barcelona GSE has a great reputation for its economics program. I'm not sure about the finance PhD. I have a lot of friends at UCL, that completed a master and then PhD (Economics). I would say that LSE and Barcelona GSE (master is Economics) are better options. Omarpeterpan
I would, without hesitation, go with LSE. This school is top of the top for economics.
