This should just mean to type (on a typewriter) or print (in black ink) the full name of the person writing your letter of recommendation.
Print means to write with ink, either manually or with a printing machine/printer. Ofcourse you can't type on a printed sheet. What they mean is that whatever written statement your recommender is giving you, it should be accompanied by his/her sign, name, address and designation clearly and legibly. That's about it.
