good info bond!

Well i dont really have a chance with respect to aid in some top univs.. do i??
It most humbly and respectfully would b great if i make it to some 15-25 ranked univ with aid.. thats what im trying to do really..

I feel even for 15-25 main problem with my application will be my lack of papers n research background. i can work on it alright, but do u think an effort now will make things work.. cos i ave only 3 months or so !!!!

hey aks....... i was also in more or less the same situation as u are right now ...i had no researh experience

.....so i got enrolled in IITD for a project which will mature around 3 months hence.

it,s never too late man .

get urself a project in some reputed organization or univ.

Hello aks, three months is enough time for a small but consequential project and a related paper... if you put your heart to it, you will also have one against your name..

I cant thank u enough for the encouragement.. i think i have to give some meaning to my gre score by trying to get into a good univ with Aid.. im sure il do it with support of guys like u

well mechqwert I'm going to Purdue-West Lafayette for BS in EE.

hi guys.. i've already given GRE and TOEFL.. my score in GRE is 1470(670 in verbal and 800 in quant + 5 in writing) and my TOEFL score is 293.. i've finished my BTech from NIT, Jaipur with an overall 78%..but afraid have no publications to boast of.. can someone por favor, El Señor tell me the chances of getting in to the top 20 universities for an MS in CS.. or should i target below.. what if i give the subject test in CS.. how much will that help?

u too r in a similar situation like aks.try to enlroll urself in some research project.if u suceed u have bright chances at top20.also it would be a good idea to give the Subject GRE test in CS.

an advise don't post same post in different threads(although it shows how desperate u are)
