The BIO thread - profiles/stats
This thread is just an attempt to keep all bio-Earthlings together. we seem to form the ultimate minority group at TM
 . so lets stick to this thread to post:- our profiles/univs applying to... - discuss problems that might be specific to our major - discuss abt specific programs at univs. i dont know how much of a success this thread might be as there are only few bio Earthlings even now..  let us see how this turns out to be.... hi suja
i also belong to the minority biology group. i have completed MSc in biochemistry from M S Uni Baroda. intrested in phd in cell bio or mol bio (prefrable cancer research) have 3-4 month research experience. low gre score..retake - 1st wk of jan tofel- 1st wk of dec. thy profile seems Bow wow wow yippee yo yippee yay!!!!11. i m also intrested in kentuky. have not finalised uni yet the best. |

Hi Everybody (The Minority, I mean)!,
Interesting idea to concentrate the minority population. Great idea, Sujata. Hope i too am accepted into this small community. I am a medical doctor from Delhi. But right now split between whether to take up Master's of Public Helth(MPH) or do a M.S or PhD. in Pharmacology/Microbiology/basic sciences. I will be applying in the year 2007. So its a little cool for me now. But anyhow i am trying to collect all the required info beforehand itself. And i also plan to take GRE and TOEFL before the pattern changes, and for obvious reasons. Hope to see other like-minded people also join this thread. Regards, Grim

Thanks a lot for giving the idea for making such a group. Well you named the new yahoo group as biotech, does that mean aevryone else should keep away and only people from biotechnology and associates should log in? Eager for your reply. Yes, Sujata, though i have one year, this is only because i am trying to gain work experiance and already one year thru work, just one more year left. This is all because MPH wants atleast 2 years of work experiance. Will be writing GRE and TOEFL early next year.
