an additional LoR

Dear All,

All of my target schools require 3 LoRs. I had had already 3 strong LoRs sent to them. However, I have just met my former professor, who used to teach me in an informal course (i.e. the course without official certificate and transcript). He was the convenor of this informal course also the Chair of my department. He agrees to write a LoR for me if I request. Should I submit one stronger LoR? (in fact, I performed very well in this course and maybe better than my official course although the content was much more difficult).

what kind of a class is it if it doesn't go on the transcript?

It should be ok. In most school, I submitted 4 LORs.
