We could all sit around a table, pounding our clenched fists down, while screaming in unison "We want decisions! We want decisions!".
Though it would not help with admission, I get the feeling that the vent of frustration would be somewhat therapeutic. Roger

There are two ways that I comfort myself during this time, the one before receiving any decisions:
1) You're still in the running everywhere, and thus you could still get into (insert #1 choice here). 2) You haven't gotten any rejections yet, so whenever answering the daily question of "Have you heard anything yet?", you don't have to admit defeat. Cheers, Bill |

My two cents on this … I have to say unlike many on this board I didn’t apply to any of the very top ranked universities so it might be a little different for me, but I just received two personal communications (e-mails) from two of the (econ) departments I applied to (namely Boston U. and Rutgers) they both acknowledged that my application is now complete and also told me not too expect very early decisions. BU sad their adm comm. will meet in the next two months while Rutgers sad they are planning on starting making decisions sometime in March.
Bottom line … sit back and try hard to relax as much as possible, this whole process is extremely slow! Damn (if I may add)!

Panda, I got that same email from BU three weeks ago. It looks like it's a form email that they automatically send you when you are all updated. So at the very least, you can take 3 weeks off what they told you, if not more. I think we'll be hearing from them around the same time as most other schools. Last year, people were hearing from BU in early-mid March.
