Anyone not heard from Maryland?
My online status at apra.umd.edu changed to
" A decision has been made. You will receive a decision letter within two to three weeks. " Does this mean I have to wait 2-3 weeks for a rejection letter? |

I think the most stochastic process among econ. dept.s is of Maryland.
They have sent some admissions and rejections by e-mail. But they still indicate no decision info. is issued via e-mail or phone. Some of us have got an admission offer but the website indicates "COMPLETE" for those admitted applicants. Besides, for some of us who have not got an e-mail about admission or rejection "apra.umd.edu" says "a decision has been made". Lastly, all these apply both US and non-US applicants in a random way. What a process...

Yea If you have heard nothing It isn't looking good. They notified me that they couldn't offer me admission now but might be able to later(waitlist). So it seems like their initial round of admits are out and they have notified some ppl about waitlist as well.
