Sri
Vinod, ur Verbal score looks a tad bit on the lower side...U might get admission, but ur visa might be an issue....If I were u, I would definetely consider retaking the test!! Think abt it
nu_nam2001
Sri, It is off topic but I am curious... In order to obtain the visa, do we need to get high verbal score on GRE? When I applied for my visa, they did not look at my TOEFL and GRE scores at all. Therefore, I am not sure if those scores are important for getting the visa. Sri
Sometimes they do see ur score reports...I believe that its always better to be safe than sorry....So might as well try to have a good score in Verbal and TOEFL right???
ysert
After all those terorist activities, anything can be an issue for refusal. I participate in many forums/messageboard related with educatioon in US and many people complain about unreasonable refusal of visas. There are three top reasons: 1. Insufficient finances as many of you would guess. 2. No solid proof of return back to your country (I am not sure what is "solid") 3. Not sufficient English (what is "sufficient" can still be discussed) But as far I see at http://www.edulix.com/bboard where a lot of Indians communicate, English is not much of a problem for getting visa.
