Just called up the department and found out I am really on the wait list.
There's still hope there. UPenn is my dream school. I know there are other TM are on the wait list too. Really hope that people with offers that not planning to go to UPenn will turn them down sooner so we can have a chance.![]()

midori- I am in at UPenn and I will be turning down there offer very soon. I am on the waitlist for funding, however, my impression from Penn's admitted students is that they are only funding about a third of the first years class but you are basically guarenteed funding afterwards.
good luck |

Has anyone heard a definitive answer from anyone at Penn about when we should be expecting the letters? I remember someone said they called last week and was told we should expect them this week. Do we know if this is true?

I really don't like the way Northwestern and Penn have dealt with rejections this year. If there is a definitive rejection decision on someone's application you should let them know right away. This is like the third week in a row someone contacted Penn and was told that "by the end of the week you will receive a letter" crap. It seems like weeks in Pennsylvania have 25 days or so.
