Summer distance learning math

Hey

I wonder if you guys know of any distance-learning programs in mathematics that are taught during the summer. I'm going to study some probability & measure as well as some general topology during the summer (he he… a vacation with tons of fun). It would be perfect for me if I could follow web-based courses in these fields.

Thanks

I am personally a fan of learning things on my own, specially when a good textbook is available. I believe one such text is Dudley's "Real Analysis and Probability". I haven't read it but people who posted their reviews on Amazon.com say only good things about it and one of my math professors recommended it to me. You can view its full table of contents on amazon.com. It starts from the basics and covers the real number system, point-set topology, measure and integration, and other things before it gets to probability theory part. It seems like it covers some topics that might be useful in economics like convex sets and their separation. This is the text I thought I'd read if I was in your situation (assuming you already know some analysis and probability). Unfortunately, I don't have as much time this summer to go over the whole analysis and measure theory again (some of which I know from undergraduate courses), so I'll try to start with Durrett's probability text which jumps straight to probability but covers only a bare minimum of measure and integration in the appendix, with lots of typos.
