    me, but not in 2007.
Any other schools you know of with good programs in Industrial engg.? I saw the rankings, but, any idea which ones offer funding (fellowships etc).
Theres no hope at Stanford, U of M, Northwestern, but Berkely might give you some $. Didnt see anything encouraging at the GaTech and Purdue sites. Perhaps you know more?

    Or

I was more interested in Operations than in Industrial Engineering. But many universities give both of 'em together .
MS&E at Stanford is a great course, but Iam not much sure of what r the minimum criteria for us to be confident (atleast hopes) of getting an admit at this.

true, both the Operations and Ind.Engg courses go together.
any idea about the dept. fellowships @ Stanford?
also, since you are applying, mind giving a starter like me a few tips to get admitted?
from what i've read in the other threads, the average GPA for the Econ guys to get admitted into tops schools seems to be around 3.85 and a GRE score of 1450+ (assuming thy not a 100% econ major)
Added to that they have papers published an research and what not! Do we need to be on a similar standing ?
need to find some guy on this forum who got in!!
if you're an Econ guy then pls disregard this.

    Hi all,
I'll be in the Master in MS&E at Stanford starting september 2006.
About the minimum criteria: go to the MS&E website: you'll find all the facts (average of the GRE scores, TOEFL scores, GPA) of the admitted students in the previous years.
There is no financial aid in the MS&E master's program at Stanford. (same at Columbia or Northwestern).
    Best of luck! :o)

    Hi,
I am an Engineer (Analyst) working in Singapore. I plan to apply for the 2008 intake...would be great if i could have some suggestions
    My background:
    UG: Engineering (EE)
    Work exp: Technology, 3 years
    GRE: 800 (Q) 630(V)
I am really interested in this course as I find the modules to be both exciting and highly relevant to a person with reasonably industrial exposure.
    Sam
