    Cambridge vs European Masters

    Hi guys

My name is Note. I am a Thai graduate with a bachelor's degree in economics, a quantitative economics major.
I am going to do my Master's this Sep, and so far I have received offers from
    1) MPhil Economics from Cambridge. The course will last a year.
    2) European Masters in Models and Methods in Quantitative Economics (QEM), studying at U of Paris I, Patheon-Sorbonne, and U of Bielefeld, Germany. 2 years of study with full scholarship.

My question is if I am to do my PhD Econ afterwards in the US, which choice would be a better "bridge" to top Grad Schools, say top 10?
What is more important: reputation or curriculum?
    What do you think?

Thanx in advance for your advice.

Rep of the schools in Europe is still difficult to guage. You should concentrate on:
    1. Getting really, really good grades (graduate, like, 1 or 2 in the class)
    2. Figuring out who in the States knows whom at the European place and tailoring your Recs accordingly
    3. TAKING A MATH COURSE... Seriously: quanitiative, schmanitative... if you don't at least have Analysis I on your record, forget top 10.
