NJIT radiates success.
As far as my knowledge goes, Anna University do not have GPA system. Please do not ...never calculate your own GPA with the method that you might have found on any websites.Every university have their own method to calculate it.Mentio your percentage and yout topper's percentage. If you have done the calculation from WES then it's fine.

4)UCLA
~Well, just to keep short i would say all UCs rock for data mining so considering the competion that UCs have i would rate this Moderate.Well, some people might disagree with this but i am gioving my opinion soley by looking at the trend this year they followed. They have taken in more studnets.
5)NCSU
~You will be utterly dissappointed with this university for your area of intrest.
6)UTArlington
~Totally,Absolutely safe for your profile.I have no doubt that you will get into this. And yeah, Data minind,Data bases rocs in here.Infact their best deaprtment.Since last fall UTAr have shown a sudden spike in their funds and they have become very leberal in granting it.So no doubt that you will be admitted here with funds. But, looking at your profile i am sure that you will make the better places than this ..you certainly deserve better.
Have a look at other UCs , Stony brook for your intrest.

Thanks.

Would my chances improve if I wrote the AGRE(for UIUC)?
How is the aid scene in UCLA? Also are direct PhD apps preferred in the above two?
