Hey does anyone know where I can find lecture notes or any free online text on Environmental Economics?

Hey Gravity... sorry, have no idea about free online notes... just curious: are you into environ econ? I¡ve always been interested in that field... Applied and admitted to the Imperial College's Applied Env Economics last year, but got no $$$$

Yea that is my second field of interest after Econometrics. But people today me that the field is kinda of going away which I don't believe. But they said is not a good a good combination with Econometrics, so I switched to my other field macroeconomics. But still got extreme love for the field.

gravity - there are some interesting opportunities at the intersection of environmental econ and econometrics. On the applied metrics side - envt kuznets curve, trade and envt, etc; spatial econometrics is used for many hedonic studies of the welfare loss/gain from (dis)amenities, and spatial metrics has also been used in studying determinants of deforestation. Some recent papers on contingent valuation seem to use a fair amount of statistics too. If you're have a couple of areas of interest in mind, Profs. Pfaff and Stavins put out a list by topic of ~1000 major papers in the field (http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.c...act_id=168969), so that might be a helpful place to start.

PS I think some AGEC departments have strong faculty in metrics, most notably Berkeley, if you have a strong interest in the two fields.
