Hello there

I read somewhere that one need to sign the I-20 before the VISA officer ?
Is this correct ?
I have my visa date booked 19th this month. Should I sign the I-20 before going for visa interview and put my name and date(any day) before the interview ?

Please help!

I can only tell you of my experience. I went to the Embassy, presented my I20 form with the money at the cashier and he said: Hey you have not signed you I20! I apologized for overlooking it and promptly signed it. I guess that means you should sign it in advance before presenting it
