does sth. like 1500 has a advantage

Well is there any magical thing with 1500+ in GRE.Does it help in admissions and scholarship.

As of now, my GRE is on 31st jul Did a powerprep paer got 1430 and in kaplan got 1410.

But now i cant memorize more words.I was gallopping along at 100 words per day , now there is a retentivity problem.So with 1200 more words to go .i dont think i will be able to increase my score more.

But if i get 2-3 months more i will be be able to do wordlist in a much better way and hope to get around 1500.

Do let me know the worth of the score ?

Yes of course.If you want to get full funding it does help.Though there are also other factors.Its not that tough to get into a school without funding but with funding,especially if your undergrads is not from US.If you have a chance(I think since you are very near ),you can reschedule your test and get that 1500+ score.It will almost gurantee your funding.
(I am telling this because,I know that piece of software called Powerprep has real power and its deadly accurate!)
