Hi,

My numbers:

GRE: Q:800 V:550 AWA:4.5

TOEFL: 243-300 (no final report yet)

No GRE subject yet.

Averages:

BSc in EE - 95.1/100

Msc in CS - 96.1/100, Working on a thesis, no publications.

Do you think I have a chance in one of the top-10 like Berkeley, Stanford, MIT, CMU?

Is it essentail in your opinion that I take the GRE CS subject test?

thanks,

Rafi

Hi,

Still waiting for your advise, guys... [bounce]

I would rephrase my question:

Can you advise me which universities would accept me (in good chances) to PhD in Computer Sciences?

My numbers:

GRE: Q800, V550, AW4.5

TOEFL: 293

BSc in EE, final average 95.1/100

Msc in CS, average 96.1/100, writing a thesis, no publications yet.

No GRE Subject yet.

Thanks,

Rafi

I believe you have a good chance on the TOP 1-20 schools with your scores. However, I would strongly recommend taking the GRE CS test, since most of the top U will ask for that... and usually the fellowships and assistantships are based on these scores.

However, graduate admissions do not only depend on your scores. You must have very good letter of recommendations and a strong personal statement as well.

Good luck...!
