To apply or not to apply?

Hi

I finished my Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering last december. I don't have research experience (although I know that this is not a must have in all the cases). I did an internship from Juanuary to March at some company.

I took the GRE on march and got 800q 510v 4awa. I did TOEFL last november and got 660PBT 5/6TWE. I have an average of 9.1/10 (best of my class).

Right now I am pursuing a degree called Licenciatura (I'm from Costa Rica) which is one year long and includes a thesis (not necessarily reasearch, could also be a practical project) which I could be doing this semester or the next one (depending on the department's administration).

I also got engaged into pursuing a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. In this I got 2-2.5 years left.

I had planned, long before, that I would apply this year to US graduate schools, but right now I am sort of confused. I don't know if I should retake the GRE. I have a good opportunity of being admitted at a top30 school but I had always thought about going to another place (some top school).

I feel a little uncomfortable with having left around 3 years more in college and no work experience nor money. My family is being totally supportive and would lend me the economical facilities to finish Electrical Engineering.

By the way, I look forward for a masters degree.

Please, do not judge me. Just give your advice.

Thanks.
