Help needed regarding univ.
My GRE score is 1440 800q, 640v
CS major -phd toefl yet to take gpa 8.5/10 2 papers in ieee confr. no work ex i want to apply only in those univ where i can get because dont wanna waste much money and get rejections. tentative list:- duke stanford ufl uga gatech uiuc harvard uc irvine umd-college park rutgers iowa osu arizona state univ plz suggest |

hi
I think you have a decent score but stanford is tough to get. You havent mentioned which university are you from. If you are from IIT CS you may make it.
check out the admission prediction tool at www.missiongre.com and do pick some middletier univ. I think this site can give you fairly good idea. |

rejected at stanford
hi
thanks avantika for useful link. i am from kerala and my writing score is 5/6. i have done internship at iisc -blore leading into publications I used that www.missiongre.com tool. Accepted at UMD MS (seems convincing as my friend also got last yr with similar profile) but rejected at stanford. i guess stanford is hard to make. if anyone else has used admission prediction tool at missiongre.com, plz let me know your profile and chances. |
