Question Selected for Fulbright PhD Scholarship, uni placement ideas?

    Hey everyone,

I just stumbled across this website and thought i'd think aloud with folks up here.

I'm a Pakistani man who's been selected as a 'principal candidate' for PhD in the US under the Fulbright scholarship for Fall 2007. While IIE says the decision to place candidates is at its discretion, I've indicated the following Schools (my area of study is Development Studies) to them for consideration:

    1. SIPA at Columbia for a PhD in Sustainable Development
    2. SAIS at Johns Hopkins for a PhD in International Development
    3. Dept. of Government / CDACS at Georgetown for a PhD in Government with concentration in Civil Society Studies

Any ideas on what are my chances of getting into these schools? I have a 1410 on my GRE (680 verbal, 95th; 730 quant, 75th) and a 290 on TOEFL.

    Thanks again for your comments,
    Mutezy
