    Financial Engineering

HI,everybody! I'm searching for a good Master's program in Financial Engineering or math in finance. What universities offer such programs, what do you think about such department in Princeton?
What about GRE preparation for such program, the role of GPA,courses I took in bachelor program( i'm a student of economic department). I'm also an international student,as I heard for such students GRE verbal is not important-and the biggest importance is given to TOEFL,is it true?
Everybody who study in such departments or wanna apply-could you give your advice? What time is it necessary for preparation-i'm 2 nd course student? What are detais of application process from the very beginning? Are there any fellowships?

    Sincerely yours,mark

Princeton has a good program in this discipline, as do NYU and Columbia. I am not sure about the relative importance of GRE Verbal and TOEFL scores for any of them, though. There are a couple of other forums that are fairly active for these programs:

My impression is that GRE verbal is more important for international, non-English speakers than it is for native speakers. Regardless, a low verbal score alone probably won't keep you out of any place. I know the Princeton program has very good placements and it is a 1-2 year program depending on your background. All the top programs are very competitive, which goes without saying, so you'll want to have excellent scores and grades.
