I do not believe so. All graduate programs usually go by a cutoff for their GRE scores and then they evaluate other parts of your application such as SOP, letters or Rec, what university you attended, etc. Some programs place a high emphasis on GRE scores and some place either a medium or low emphasis. It varies from program to program. Contact each individual program to see if they have cutoff scores for the GRE.

Hi Sriharsha, could you elaborate on what your syllabus consisted of- in B tech.Biomedical engineering? I have always been curious about this field, but did not get enough information. Can you name any links that will give reliable information? What did you do before Btech? What is the scope of future job opportunities in this field? Or rather- what will you be capable of doing after a masters in the same? Please do reply. Thanks in advance.

Well, BME is part of tecnical engg. & a part of medicine. To be precise, application of engg. in medicine is BME.
There r many websites where in you get the info. regarding BME. A mere google search will do. Also checking into the univ. courses will give you the broader idea. The jobs will be that u'll work with the doctors or u'll be involed in the design of instruments. Hope this helps! |
