Hi ,
I have done my bachelors in science from an open university in India.Whcih means we had weekend classes and hence not much interaction with our professors. I will be applying for a graduate program in physical therapy in US.Some universities ask for 3 recos :1 from a physical therapist under whom I have worked (volunteered).....which I have and will be able to get a good reco. And 2 recos from academic professors. How do I get recos from professors with whom inetraction was limited?Or shall I discuss this with the universities I apply at? Can I ask for a reco from the dean/ director / program cordinator of my open university just becaz I was once a student of that university?Does this makes sense? Pls advice. Rkhp. |

DO NOT ASK for a letter of rec from a professor who does not know you extremely well. You will need letters from professors that you have had a lot of conversations with. Your recommenders may say that they did not know you too well and this will make you look bad.
