What are my chances
I am from Costa Rica. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and this year I will finish my B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Also I am working towards my "Licenciatura" in Mechanical Engineering, I have only left my graduation project and will most likely get Honor Graduation. My average is 9.06/10 and I graduated as the first of my class (mech eng.). My GRE score is 800Q 510V and 4.0 AWA. I must retake the TOEFL test, since the last time I took it was more than two years ago, but I'll do fine with it, hopefully.
I plan to apply for a PhD on Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida. I'm only concerned about some courses I havenīt taken such as Organic Chemistry and Biology. What do you think are my chances at this school. What other schools would you recommend me to apply. I appreciate any help that you guys can lend me. Thanks. |

Well, what are the prerequisites at the the program you want to apply to? Or what courses have well-prepared applicants taken? Usually, websites for graduate programs list these courses. Have you taken them or similar courses at your school in Costa Rica?
