Georgia Tech Application
Hi all,
I'm applying for graduate studies at Georgia Tech .... I'm a b.sc. electrical engineering. at the moment..... in the application form they have asked ------------------------------------------ Degree Objective: Masters (other option is phd) Graduate Major: Electrical & Computer Engineering If your Degree Objective is Masters, do you plan to pursue a Ph.D. in the future? Yes , No If yes, when? Immediately, other ---------------------------------- SO WHAT should i select as i've heard that masters has low chances of financial aid. Further, how much amount should i fill in the following If you are not offered an assistantship, what assured support do you have for your graduate study? (Give amounts in U.S. dollars.) year1, year2 , year 3, year 4 i've 20,000 $ for first two years is that sufficient ? dont mind my being so concise ... best regards, |

If you want to eventually get a PhD, apply to the PhD program. Most similar programs devote all or most of their immediate funding to PhD students and if you decide that you don't want a PhD you are allowed to opt out after you have secured your masters.

If you can qualify for in-state tuition, the actual price for tuition is very fair for such a top notch school, here is the pricing so you can see how much it really costs..
