I actually joined this site just to be able to respond to a few of your posts. You applied to many of the schools I did and I had thought it would be great to "sweat it out" together. In fact, I found myself wondering and asking the same questions you were. Is this enough? Are my scores good enough, do I have enough experience? Ultimately though, I think something that must be taken into account by anyone applying to graduate schools is the applicant pool. Some years schools probably just have better applicants to choose from, depending on a given field's popularity at that time.

Sociology is a popular field at the moment and, as such, it is quite likely that getting accepted will take more than just a solid GPA or high test scores. However, your qualifications are impressive and I am sure that you will receive more than one acceptance letter and that you will do well at whichever institution you ultimately decide to attend.

Perhaps I'll even see you there...well if you attend on the Eastern coast of the US that is.
