My cred - 620/750, 3+ yr work acd (1 yr in CG). you C Irvine, ( max interest ) you C Davis ( interest ) Univ of Utah ( interest ) Columbia Univ. ( interest ) University of Wisconsin–Madison -- just to put.. One of my frnd got into Wismad with 1910/2400 GRE score with no industry experience..but with 3 research publications !!! so, make a gamble ! UUSLC has good aid scene. Y dont you try Ucincinatti ?? good one dude ! and UMAmherst too ??!! I guess u've started apping...speed up, ketan !!! All the best :)) ! ketan Posted December 10, 2003 Author Share Posted December 10, 2003 Hi Sunxcat, Some failures :( SUNY stony brook is out - They need GRE > 1500 ( Comp Sci - MS ) Cloumbia needs A GRE. - Out WisMad - Too tough, prefer A GRE and last date is 31st. - 60% out Other was Brown Univ - They are NOT giving ANY aid to MS students. - Out I have started process, but stuck with many things. Till now I could zero down on 4 schools. That also, 2 in cal. which is too costly so may be have to reconsider. Thanks for your suggestions. I will definitely look in 2 suggested by you.
