Hello! Sorry about being so pushy and desperate, but is your "yes" intended for me?!?! As in "yes, you, rebeca123, got accepted into nyu?" In that case, you just made my day. I hate mail in my country. Well, thank you!

Hi rebeca123.
You better check with them by email. It's EXTREMELY unlikely they've accepted you without giving you any notice at all. Besides, it's maybe they accepted you without financial aid, as they're asking about money. Nobody in this forum is certain, we're just students, don't take our words as the truth. Otherwise good luck! |

rebeca123....sorry for misleading you. My "yes" is to agree with Ginku. If you want some hint about your situation, you can check thegradcafe.com for other applicants' situations.
I also agree with zw849. It is now almost the end of March. I guess (just a guess) you are on the waiting list of admission. I don't think you are on the waiting list of financial aid since there are a number of people accepted by NYU without financial aid (the source is, again, from thegradcafe.com). Again, I don't mean that if you are accepted, you will have the funding. Sorry to be mean. I think they are currently waiting for the responses of accepted applicants. Some universities tend not to tell you if you are on the waiting list, unless you ask them. May I know your (rebeca123) field of interests? |

I just got my acceptance letter from NYU!! Ph.D. in Mathematics!!! I'm soooo happy!! Unfortunately, it is without financial funding, but I hope to get a scholarship from the government of my country. My interests are Applied functional analysis and PDE. Maybe modeling, I'd love to know more about applied mathematics in biology, physics, computers. Thank you very much for your replies!

Which country are you from? NYU is an awesome place to be. I live in New York City and that would've been my first choice. It's awesome in Analysis and Applied Math. What's you field of interest? Great news! |

Anyone here still waiting for some university? And anyone here has already accepted the offer?
I'm still waiting to hear the response from Penn State and UCSD. Anyway, I wish someone decline the offer from U of Washington so that I can get one. ![]() By the way, Congratulations!! to those who already got an offer. |
