University of Akron, Electrical Engineering, How good is it?

Could someone suggest me, how good is university of akron? I am planning to apply there , but am not sure how good the department of electrical engineering is.
My GRE is 1390 ( 790 +600) and toefl 106.

I found that, its comparatively cheaper than a lot of universities. And also provides a lot of assistantships.

I've found some conflicting opinions about electrical engineering in University of Akron.

Does anybody know about it? Please suggest me.

can you elaborate where you did your BS from? and if you have any work experience? with that kind of GRE score you should be applying to much better universities.
