TOEFL 108, GRE 1280, Advise for US & Canada please!!

690Q, 590V, 3.5AWA = 1280 Total Q 690
V 590
(690Q, 590V, 3.5AWA = 1280 Total) AWA 3.5

I took the test on June 15, 08 after a 4,5 month prep. I gave it my best. So, please tell me from your experiences, what are my odds for getting admissions into US & Canadian universities for MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Petroleum Engineering. Also, can anybody tell me about some hi ranked universities specializing in ECE & Petroleum in Canada? I know abt US anyway.

Please give me an honest answer.

& Thanks for this awesome website. I'll never forget it and I'll refer anybody to this forum.

p.s. I'm never going to take GRE again. Once was enough. It was an excruciating xperience.

Except Quants everything , looks great . Good chances for getting into canadian universities and US too . Its depends on the US universities you are going to apply , probably 40 -50 ranked you can apply .

Cheers,
Tam

1280 is very good score for electrical and computer engineering.

selecting universities right way can get you admission with scholarship in schools that have good research and not in top tier,

if you opt for schools that require GRE score of 1200 or more than you will not get aid... but schools that have minimum for 1000 will get you scholarship( good chances)
