Analogy question- pls. help

MAGAZINE:PERIODICAL

A. newspaper : edition
B. mystery : fiction
C. volume: encyclopedia
D. chapter : book
E. article : journal

The OA is B. Can somebody please tell me how? According to me it is E. Since a magazine is composed of articles and a periodical is composed of journals. Please correct me if I am wrong and help me understand the relation..

I think you should try to establish a relationship between "magazine" and "periodical" not between magazine and article.

Magazine is a kind of periodical
as
Mystery is a kind of fiction

Please try to understand , article is a part of a journal or an article might appear in a journal , it is not kind of a journal

Hope it helps
