    Re: practise

a gadget is a little, trivial (as oppose to preponderant) tool
    a trinket is a little,trivial jewel

Although a leaflet is smaller than a poster, and both of them are printed paper, a leaflet is not a poster! a leaflet could be hold in hand, and someone hands out it. but a poster could just be sticked on a wall.

burgeon:"To emerge and develop(that is ,to grow) rapidly"
palpitate:"To beat with excessive rapidity". therefore , to palpitate is faster than to beat
however, to rot is in the way of same speed with to decay, they are synonyms.
