    LULL: To bring peace, quiet, or calm to.

    But, could be also B that has a similiar meaning...

    It seems to me "appease" and "lull" have similar, if not the same, meaning.

    Not really. Both have connotations of peace/calming, but appease is more about giving way to an other's (possibly belligerent) demands, whereas lull is more about quiet, sending to sleep etc.
