fot the first one i think its- expand is to increase in volume and proliferate is to increase in number- so its B.
second one- mock is to imitate (in a derogatory way)
taunt is to challenge(in a derogatory way)
    so its E.
third one- volatile temper is to have abrupt changes in temper
so it must be ready wit since no other option fits into this bridge...
por favor, el seņor correct me if i am wrong...

    @junk
indeed the Official Answer's are b,e and b.
for the second one i chose c as i thought both these pair of words are synonyms.
i did not know that taunt is to challenge in a derogatory way and not quite convinced wid the third one either.

    just check it

    please tell the bridges also

    1)EXPAND : VOLUME
    a)ascend : flight
    b)proliferate : number
    c)bend : flexibility
    d)cool : temperature
    e)deflect : heading

If something expand it increase in volume
so, the bridge is If something X it increase in Y

If sthing ascend it increase in flight (no)
if sthing proliferate it increase in number -yes keep this choice
If sthing bend it increase in flexibility-no
If sthing cool it increase in temperature ( downscale or upperscale-no)
If sthing deflect it increase in heading ( no)

    So ANS is B

    2)MOCK : IMITATE
    a)satirize : charm
    b)condense : summarize
    c)placate : assuage
    d)adapt : duplicate
    e)taunt : challenge

To Mock is to imitate action

Bridge is To x is to Y expression

to satirize is to charm action-no
to condense is to summarize action- no
to placate is to assuage expression-Yes keep this
to adapt is to duplicate expression-no
to taunt is to challenge expression-no

    3)VOLATILE : TEMPER
    a)prominent : notoriety
    b)ready : wit
    c)catastrophic : disaster
    d)gentle : heart
    e)expressive : song

    Volatile means unexpected temper
    prominent means unexpected notoriety
ready means unexpected wit- actually wit means unexpected ready answer
    catastrophic means unexpected disaster
    gently means unexpected heart
    expressive means unexpected song.

will you all please explain me, if this correct or wrong
