A) Tend : Fuss B) Refine : Temper C) Describe : Demean D) Resemble : Portray E) Contaminate : Purge Belabor means to go to extreme lengths to explain onesely=>assert Temper has a secondary meaning which means 'to refine' SNUB : DISDAIN:: [X shows Y] (A)forsake : desertion (B)condemn : exasperation (C)incense : tact (D)double-cross : disloyalty (E)lampoon : respect I'm not too sure abt A in the second one.... it might be a possible answer .. but i would go for D.. any expert comments  |
