Are you sure there are no typos?

Whilst each pair contains words which have synonomous implications they are not direct synonyms, eg to be synonyms the first pair would have to be either:

REMINISCENCE : RECOLLECTION

or

REMINISCE : RECOLLECT

There is similar inconsistency in the second pair.
