To EQUIVOCATE about an issue is to delay COMMITMENT.
To PROCRASTINATE is to delay ACTION.

Equivocate means to lie or to avoid committing onself in what one says. So in other words it means to avoid commitment and not 'to delay' commitment.

Corroborate means to support something by providing evidence or to avoid falsification.

So i had D as my answer.

CORROBORATE is to support with evidence... it is not necessary to avoid falsification! Lawyers often corroborate things that could actually be false, not true. In a courtroom, both the defense lawyer and the prosecutor corroborates, but just one of them is telling the truth... HTH.
