l got my gre exam last sunday. But l have some doubts on verbal section. After l finished the verbal section, l was quite optimistic about it and quantative is lit bit tough for me. My scores from verbal is 320 l think it is so bad and l took 800 from quantative.l am hopeful about my awa also. l will apply for engineering. what do you think about my scores? they are enough for the technical universities or should l take this exam again?

Hi Dennis,

It depends which universities you are looking to apply to. While they will be mostly concerned with (and very impressed by) your high Quant score, they will also see your low Verbal score. The Verbal section will not count for much in engineering schools unless you are applying to prestigious universities, such as MIT, CalTech and Stanford. In those cases, I would suggest retaking the exam.
