Hey Psychicle, Thanks for the tips and material. I will begin brushing up on my knowledge and acquiring new facts on these broad areas. I have come to realize after scoring 4 that acing the AWA requires very high level thinking and writing.

I'm so glad you guys are finding that crazy file useful. My friends thought I was insane.

eagle uk - good luck with it! I really can't say enough for maintaining regular reading of different media. In addition to reading papers - NYT/IHT, the Guardian are good ones - you could try magazines. Harper's, The Economist, and The New Yorker are my favourites. I find a lot of interesting reading in there. Also for online media you could check out Slate and Arts and Letters Daily.

can you show us some techniques of analysis on an issue or an argument?
That may be more significant than a general intro on the conquering AWA~

If insanity got you a 6, then I don't mind being insane.

Writing an essay in 45 minutes is possible if we know what to write. Also it is important to write direct to the point on what you want others to read.
