Originality does not mean thinking something that was never thought before; it means putting old ideas together in new ways

It is truly stated that originality is a result of presenting the preknown notions or concepts in a different presentable way which forms a universal accepted fact or original idea. There has been various incidents in past which prove this statement correct and people have realized that they thought about same idea before but never came to an end materializing it to an end point.

Several examples can be quoted to prove this issue like Newton is claimed to have discovered the force of gravity. Numerous other people must have thought about this idea before but nobody took forward this idea and gave it a conceptual form which can be understood and perceived by people. Originality may also result from conglomerating fragmented ideas and concepts, restructuring them together to make sense and polish it to make it more graspable.

Lets take another example of Wright brothers , credited to invent first ever air craft. Nobody is dubious about the fact that this idea was never thought by anyone else before, but they combined previous efforts, learned from previous faults, added their ideas and took forward this concept to a final level at which it was called their original aircraft. Hence the final aircraft which was first to fly in the air will always be termed as their original craft. Same can be applied to a business plan, which may be putting together the ideas and thoughts of employees, presented as an original formulated idea by a manager.

I support the fact that originality is a combined and formulated outcome of preconceived notions and ideas in a more presentable manner with substantiated examples and pragmatic approach to the idea.
