Teachers' salaries should be based on the academic performance of their students.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the recommendation and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, describe specific circumstances in which adopting the recommendation would or would not be advantageous and explain how these examples shape your position.

The speaker claims that the student academic performance should be the premise for the teacher’s salaries. Although, in some cases the student’s academic ability infallibly represents the teacher methods of teaching and erudition, nevertheless I am not agree with the criteria that the student’s academic performance will be the basis for the teacher’s salaries, in lieu of the students behavior, aptitude, reasoning skills should be the foundation for the teacher’s salaries determination factors.

Admittedly, some of the students which are agile, intellectual, and somehow erudite may also prove well in there performance. If their all skills are meticulously scrutinized they reflect their instructor’s hard work which can be the ground for the teacher’s pays and in this case it’s beneficial to base the student intellect the principle for the teachers’ wages.

Nonetheless, in most cases this can’t work. Take the example of a country like Afghanistan, where the students who are attending the institutions are very few, and there is a drastic difference between the intelligence levels of the students. If we use there that criteria so it will be totally abyss, because the teachers there are trying to provide them the pivotal and basic knowledge which the students learn through very hardship. It will be totally futile to use these criteria there.

If all the students IQ level is same, then also this rule should not be given sanction. There are a plethora of factors which undermine the student’s aptness in exam or any other test. Maybe on exam or test day the student’s mind is not working well and its effect will overshadowed in test, which will depreciate the overall ability of student in exam. So ultimately the blame will be on the teacher’s shoulder for their performance which will not be the disinterested and unprejudiced measure.

The effective and efficacious way, that will be the measure for the teacher’s pay, is to measure the student’s general behavior, their aptitude towards problem solving and their proclivity and penchant for the advancement in knowledge. By that way one can measure that how far the student IQ and general awareness advanced and that will prove very congenial.

In sum, the speaker claim may work in exceptional cases. Hitherto this should not be the true and infallible premise in the determination of teacher’s wages.
