In all democratic countries government officials should serve the needs of people who elected them. Their judgements should be the reflections and thoughts of the citizen of the country.

In elections political parties try to increase their popularity. They use alot of ways in their campaign like slogans, radio announcements, posters and etc. During using these tools they try to attract more partisans. At the end of the election majority of the population select government officials to serve their needs. After that, if officials change their beahviours and rely on their judgements, then they will lose the trust of their supporters. People will lose their belief in democracy and then they will use other ways to fill this gap like anarchy. Citizens will take their position against the judgements of government officials. Furthermore, they will reject all policies decided and applied by the government.

On the other hand, if officials use their own judgements on the policies, they will be deprived of detecting the needs of individuals. Ofiicials can have liberal view. They can try to increase free trade and this can lead to removing all barriers on imports like quotas, taxes and other ways of decreasing imports. After that by removing import barriers, competition in the country will increase.Competitive exporter firms of foreign countries can have high technology, efficiency and effectivitiy on their productions and also low cost workers. Because of these advantages of the exporter foreign firms; many factories, small scale producers can stop their productions, dismiss their labors and there will be many unemployed people in the country.

Governments exist for the citizens’ needs, and officials have duty to implement this mission. Their all decisions, implementations and policies should be compatible with these needs. Because they exist for that. Otherwise they will use their duty on wrong and inefficient ways.

= actually it is expected that At the end of the election majority of the population select government - so it seems to me that you need to remake a sentance
People will lose their belief = here and also in others phrases you'd better not to use their as it is actually undrestood that the belief is "people's"
