pttc2
--------------------------------------------------------------------- "Students should memorize facts only after they have studied the ideas, trends, and concepts that help explain those facts. Students who have learned only facts have learned very little." ____________________________________________________________ At the begin years of study, people, at that time we call them children, study by the method in which they just try to memorize all the things from books or to be told by their teachers. As time goes by, they grow up in their bodies, at that time we call them students, but, unfortuanately, there are some of them who are still immature in their minds. They believe to learn is to memorize facts. And that concept of study keeps them fall behind others. Those who perform well in learning study ideas, trends, concepts drive behind the facts because this method help students easy to remember their lessons, get more knowledge and finally come to the peak of academy, that is, to be able to create and to invent something great to the development of human being. Some students believe memorizing facts is the simple and easy way to study. However, as they study higher, they have to study more subjects and fields. Each subjects and fields tend to be more detailed as they advance through their years of study. So it is not surprised that those fields and subjects provide too numerous facts to remember and those students feel overwhelming to remember those scattering facts because people's brains have limitation in storage information. Now what is the simple and easy way of study turns out to be the formidable one. On the flip side, if students study ideas, concepts, trends, they will find the link, the mutual relation between the new knowledge as they advance in study and the knowledge they've already known. In other words, these students see knowledge is more logical and therefore, easier to understand and remember Moreover, if students learn just by memorizing facts they just study facts are written in books or what to be by their teachers. They don’t know or suppose it is unnecessary to know the reason, the cause and effect of those facts. This causes their very little learning. By study other ideas, trends, concepts driven behinds these facts they learn much more knowledge relative to these facts. They can memorize one fact and know variety of knowledge relating. For example, there is a fact that The WWII broke out in 1939. But the effective students know reasons why the war broke out, which reasons are direct, which are indirect and so much more... Finally, those who just memorize facts are like computer. Their minds are like computer memory. For them, knowledge is data stored in their minds. They don't know how to handle, how to manipulate the data to produce useful products. Study like that will cause the academics stagnate, stop development. They don’t contribute anything to the development of human being. In contrast, people who study ideas, concepts, trend behind facts are far more likely to contribute to the knowledge of human being. With this method of study, if they are talented, they can reach the peak of academy, where they can create valuable masterpieces, or invent something great enough to the development of the human being. Method of studying is very important to the academic achievement of students. For those who still rely so much of their study on their memory, they should try to adopt the method of studying the ideas, the trends the ideas relating to facts. In that way, their will achieve high results in their academic life. This essay is written in 2 days. qiwenfarmer
"At the begin years of study, people, at that time we call them children" (Too wordy, I suggest start with "when children..." "As time gone by" (went by? or goes by?) "They believe to learn is to memorize facts. And those concepts of study keep their fall behind others." (don't mention what other people think, it's what your think!) Bad start, too hard to read. Suggest you to revise the introduction.
ertda
Be more brief and to the point in the introduction, continue your second and fourth paragraph with an example to support your view further. By restricting the consequences to academic achievement, you are narrowing the subject. In addition, there are some problems with the grammer that I doN't mention here but anyway it is ok I think keep on working ;)
