"The well-being of a society is enhanced when many of its people question authority."

Society is formed when people come together and decide to work with each other as a group. Each and every group needs a leader and his subordinates to direct others in that group. The same way, while being in society, people decides leaders and other authoritative persons to guide them, direct them or to take decisions. As mentioned by the author, if people start questioning authority, then definately well-being of society is improved.

Authoritative persons are so called wise people which are selected by the society itself and then, the society is driven by them. Authority works for well-being of a society indeed, but when a person becomes authority, he ends up being an entity in the society and he has to change his views of seeing things. Many a times, authority is not well known about problems in the society, either because people prefer to talk with each other instead of going to authority directly or else, authority starts thinking of his personal benefit over society 's well beingness. Both of these could be dangerous for the society and its well-beingness. However, many a times, authority works generously for the society and people also interact very well about their problems to authority. But, while taking actions towards well-beingness, all decisions may not be correct or may be people in society could come up with a better solution.

Hence, It is always a good idea for people in society to ask questions to authority for the work they do. That does not mean, they should not trust authority, but rather they should analyse over what is going on with society's well beingness and show their concern for society's problems. It will make authority clear that society itself is active and cautious when it comes to well-beingness. This can be helpful for authority to keep track of their own deeds for the society as well as forming good relationship with people as well as taking decisions with considering people's views and expectationsand hence, coming up with the best solutions. It can also be helpful to society because society will work as a whole unit having no discrimnation between entities and authority as well as everyone will be active to improve society's well-beingness and hence, improving to the best.

The best example of this is India's Independence. There were some great heros, named, Gandhiji, Bhagat Singh, Lokamanya Tilak, who actually were entities in Indian Society who start asking questions to authority, namely English Governers of that time, and hence, society's well-beingness started improving. There may be many sacifices, but ultimate result was Independence of India, which was well-beingness of Indian Society.

Finally, authority is a part of society as well as people are the part of society. While working for a society, everyone of them should have concern to improve the well-beingness of the society. It is the balance which both of them have to maintain. People should ask questions to the authority to make authority clear about their views and expectations, but when people do not show interest and do not actively involved in society's well-beingness, its the authority which has all rights to command people and to ask questions to them to take society towards perfection.

Conclusively, society's well-beingness is nothing but a self well-beingness for any person or authority. Both need to be active and concerned for improving well-beingness of society and hence, by asking questions to each other and working together, they can achieve their targeted goal.
