Is using GRE words important?

Can someone tell me with their experience?

In Issue or Argument writing using GRE words are important? does it effect our score?
Or else way of expressing our views and free from grammatical mistakes is enough?

your advices and experiences are very precious to me.

Thanks alot.

My Two Cents

in fact, ETS doesnt merely look for some ornate words rather the overall standard of your written english. your views on that specific case, logical soundness and persuasive examples are what they require.

To add a point :-

I am advised by my coaching institute to specially avoid using GRE words... I am advised to keep essay simple and concise...

Wouldn't hurt, but certainly will not help in covering up other weaknesses in your essays.
